Indianapolis Wedding Photographer Blog Angel Canary bio picture
  • photography + art = love

Thank you for stopping by! My name is Angel Canary ( Canary pronounced like the bird - yes it's my "real" name lol ) Did you just picture a little yellow canary with white angel wings ;)

This blog is where I can mix my professional love of photography and personality all in one.  This is the place that I update all of my favorite recent work, photo tips and tricks, girly things and more.  I am an Indianapolis lifestyle photographer that is located in Greenfield Indiana, that serves the Central Indiana and other Destinations for Weddings. My ideal client is someone who loves to smile (with or without showing teeth - I don't discriminate) and seeks a photographer that will capture the "real" person that they are and just have fun!  My dream client is one whom the sky is the limit when it comes to possibilities, and will let me "paint a picture" of their life and how they live, laugh and love! This blog is my happy place. So, Live. Laugh. Love. Take pictures. That's what my blog is all about. That's what my life is all about.

Steven is the love of my life.  He is my best friend.  I tell him my dreams, hopes and fears.  He is the yin to my yang and he really is the only person in the world that "gets" me.  I am so thankful for him - and not to mention to be able to photograph with him.  He is a fabulous photographer and I would like to think we make an unique team - he is always there for me.

My main love is Wedding Photography, and I am an Indianapolis wedding photographer, but I also photograph Senior Pictures, Engagement Sessions, Newborn Baby Portraits, and Family Portraits here in Greenfield and Indianapolis Indiana. I will travel - just ask.  Our studio is locted at 2 West Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140 on the second floor. We are in the Arts and Events Building.

new kid logo!

I have been in a long process of splitting up the website with the newborn babies, seniors and weddings having their own pages and sites. This is a lot easier said than done. But finally, I have a new logo for my kids and newborn site (that will be up and running soon!)

This is the banner for the blog that I’ll have for the kids and newborn sessions:

AND this is a photo from one of the newborn sessions I photographed Friday, with the new logo on it.

I’m really excited about it and just thought I would share! ;)

These are a few of my favs, with more to come, a lot more!

just a few more for liz and ryan

Blogging is hard. Not hard in the sense I don’t have much to say, ha, I’m a talker. Hard in the sense of I’m a photographer not a writer and I spend most of my time shooting, not on the computer. So, forgive me, but for now, I have a few of Liz and the girls and a few of the guys and I will have a full blog post very, very soon. I am actually hiring help and soon I will have this blog bursting with photos, but for now, I have to go shoot! ;)

High fives to her dad!

We played the game, let's see how many fabulous photos we can do in one room. A lot, ha! It was in the 90's I believe and we didn't bring the girls outside until after the ceremony.

But the guys, they don't wear make-up so outside they went, ha!

Megan - NOT kidding Angel! I think this is your BEST shoot by far. The location and the pics are AMAZING! Congrats.

angela&rob=sneak peek!

Tonight I am posting a quick sneak peek of Angela and Rob’s engagement session. These two work in the field of nature, so these photos were taken on their real life playground. I could not of been more pleased with the way they turned out. There are so so so many I love and want to share, but for now, this is a quick peek for Angela. ;)

Did I mention she was an environmentalist? ;)

Okay, I am going to stop with those last two, so you’ll have to come back to see the other half of their engagement session! ;)
