Oh my. I love all of my clients equally as if they were my own offspring, but I have to admit, Salene and Keston are one of my favorite couples. I love love love their happy go lucky laughter, their sense of fashion and style and their charm. This couple’s wedding reception will be held at the IMA (Indiana Museum of Art in Indianapolis) and Salene simply adores the lovely flower gardens and the beauty of the venue (as do I) so of course we couldn’t have chosen a better place to photograph their engagement session. Salene loves soft, pastel and romantic colors and candid poses, so I believe this session captures everything that she loves. I was more than ecstatic to see that they wore fashionable outfits with cute shoes! Not only that, but I loved that they kept their outfits of choice to simple neutrals so that with all of the flowers it didn’t make for a “busy” photo. What I truly respect about them the most was the trust that they had in me to do my job. They trusted my years and professional options of guiding their posing and where to shoot at the given venue because, to me, light is everything. I truly love them for that. I love that my clients can be giggling and playing one moment, and can be serious and flirty the next – and romantic and dancing in the street at sunset, and I love to capture that on film!! There were so so many photos from this session that I loved, but these are a few of my favorites.
