The other week I was in Santa Monica California for a few sessions and a workshop, and I had the joy to get these two in front of my camera again! This time I made a few props that I thought was fitting to their personalities.
I am starting this session with my favorite part, they have each written love letters to each other but neither of them have seen each other yet. They are one of the cutest and sweetest couples I know, and I loved having dinner with them and shooting on the pier (those will be in part two tomorrow.) Johanna and Angelo are so deeply, madly in love, and not to mention so playful and happy!!
DIY’ers // I made the lantern out of a mason jar and lace and yarn and used fabric for the handle. The book I glued the lace to it and cut out the heart, it took me a while to find this title. The records (they are dancers and love music) are simply burlap with a layer of ivory lace and I sewed the fabric for their initials and the heart. The polaroid notes are a favorite of mine, and we incorporated those for the love notes.
